  • Bookkeeper

    Condominium Property Management

    Location: Remote, Office-Based (Simcoe, ON), or Hybrid
    Position Type: Contract

    About Us

    Norfolk Property Management specializes in providing expert condominium property management services.

    We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to manage and optimize financial records using CondoManager software.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain, review, and update financial records in CondoManager.
    • Process accounts payable, receivables, and monthly bank reconciliations.
    • Prepare and review financial reports (balance sheets, cash flow statements, trial balances, etc.).
    • Collaborate with auditors for year-end financial statements and adjustments.
    • Provide guidance and training to internal staff on financial best practices.
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP and the Condominium Act.
    • Handle bookkeeping and payroll services for the corporation.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Experience in bookkeeping/accounting, preferably in condominium or property management.
    • Proficiency with CondoManager (or similar financial software).
    • Strong understanding of accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Strong communication skills for coordinating with auditors and internal teams.

    Work Conditions

  • Condominium Manager

    We are expanding and are seeking an experienced and professional Condominium Manager to join our team serving the Haldimand-Norfolk & Brant County areas.     We are looking for a Condominium Manager to manage a portfolio of properties in the region.

    Key Responsibilities

    As a Condominium Property Manager, the incumbent will manage a portfolio of residential condominium properties and be responsible for the relationship with and management of our clients. The incumbent will also handle the day to day administrative, financial,operational and maintenance management for the properties within their portfolio.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    ·        Liaise,communicate and meet with the Board of Directors of each CondominiumCorporation within the portfolio.

    ·        Field residentinquiries and complaints, communicate, and educate them about rules,procedures, etc.

            Prioritizingand conducting the business and projects generated by the portfolio in a timelymanner.

    ·        Managingprojects, emergencies, contracts and contractors as generated by the portfolio.

    ·        Conductingmeetings (AGM, special meetings, board meetings) and meeting administration(e.g. prepare meeting agendas, follow up with accurate minutes, prepare annualgeneral meeting packages). Some evening meetings required.

    ·        Administeringfinancial matters of the portfolio including preparation of annual budgets,analyzing expenses, review invoices and ensure account allocations are correct.

    ·        Performsite inspections and generate reports.

    ·        Identifyany rule or governing document violations and implement compliance measures(e.g. compliance letters)
